Canada: Bullets rained on the car carrying Hardeep Nijhar’s close friend, former president also attacked

Toronto: After the murder of Khalistani supporter Hardeep Singh Nijhar in Canada, a case of firing bullets on a car carrying Nijhar’s close friend has come to light.

According to the report of Hindustan Times, this incident took place in California on August 11 when some unknown assailants opened fire on the car carrying Satinderpal Singh Raju, a close friend of Nijhar.

Raju was a leader in organizing the Khalistan referendum in Calgary in the past and is believed to be close to Sikhs for Justice leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannu.

The California Highway Patrol has prepared a report on the matter.

Meanwhile, on August 10, an incident of firing at the house of Raghbir Nijhar, the former president of Gurdwara Guru Nanak Sikh Temple Surrey, has also come to light. Although the police did not say who owned the house, the RCMP issued a statement saying that the shots were fired at 3.30 am. It is being told that Raghbir Nijhar also belongs to the village of Hardeep Singh Nijhar.
