Amid growing tension between India and Canada over the murder of Khalistani Hardeep Singh Nijhar, Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau’s former coalition partner New Democratic Party (NDP) leader Jagmeet Singh claimed that Canadian Sikhs are scared and worried. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Network (RSS) should be banned here. Anyone involved in criminal activities on Canadian soil will face serious consequences.” Jagmeet Singh said his party was deeply concerned by the information released by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Singh alleged that Canada has strong evidence of the involvement of Indian officials in the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijhar. The Modi government was involved in the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijhar on Canadian soil. The US has already indicted several individuals for related crimes.” He said that since September 2023, the RCMP has issued 13 people with serious threat warnings against them.
