Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) president and former Sangrur MP Simranjit Singh Mann on Wednesday urged the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) to extend full cooperation to the SIT investigating the disappearance of 328 saroops of the Guru Granth Sahib, saying the probe must reach a logical conclusion.
Addressing his party’s Maghi Mela conference, Mann accused the Congress, BJP, AAP and the SAD of neglecting the state’s long-standing issues, including those related to the Sikh community, Punjabi heritage and water disputes.
The party also held a march through the city, paying homage to Sikh martyrs and calling on Punjabis and Sikh organisations to unite on Panthic and community issues
