SGPC to constitute advisory board to discuss Panthic issues

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has declared to constitute an advisory board to discuss the Panthic issues that come to light at Akal Takht.

While reading out the resolutions, SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami said the 11-member advisory board was also approved by the House for simplification of the matters that reach Akal Takht.

The House thanked the Government of India and Pakistan for extending the period of Kartarpur Sahib corridor for another five years. The House asked to remove the condition of passport for pilgrimage, on the spot permission through Aadhaar card instead of online registration and remove the condition of 20 dollars charged to the pilgrims. In another resolution, the government and its agencies were warned to stop conspiracies and tactics to undermine the Sikh faith.
