Canada: International Sikh Research Conference by Guru Nanak Institute of Global Studies on September 28-29

Surrey: The Guru Nanak Institute of Global Studies, an organization working towards promoting the coexistence of Sikhism as well as cultural diversity through research, education and service and building a university comparable to the world’s leading educational institutions, organized its third annual ‘International Sikh Research Conference-2024’ is being held at Dhaliwal Banquet Hall (Pail Business Centre) Surrey on 28th and 29th September 2024. On the first day from 7.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. and on the second day from 7.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., the conference will feature renowned scholars from various universities and from various fields on various topics related to ‘Global Impact and Contribution of Sikhs’. Experts will present their research papers and ideas.

Giving this information, Guru Nanak Institute of Global Studies President and CEO Gyan Singh Sandhu has told that in this two-day conference, challenges facing international higher education, contribution of Sikh scientists in global wheat production, sustainable energy policies in environmental construction. Contributions by Sikh researchers to food and nutrition security, Contribution of Sikh organizations to balanced global security, Canadian political landscape (democracy, polarization, global/national/local), Decolonizing education (places for inclusion, innovation and creative thinking), Contemporary manuscripts Reconstructing Zafarnama with Evidence, Addressing Barriers to Struggle and Resolution for Bagri Sikhs in Pakistan, Emerging Mental Health Issues in the UK Sikh Community, Family Mental Health and Youth Related Topics World-renowned experts will present their valuable views. He has appealed to the entire community to join this conference.
